BLIND DATE - The AlphaNYC Theater Company
August 24-27, 2017
Seven short, female centered comedic plays that highlight what it’s like to live in women’s shoes (literally) and what it’s like to put up with them. In The Stand-In, an actress deals with one of the most awkward auditions ever, involving a sock puppet and a degrading director. In Kung-Foolery a woman has to put up with her husband turning into a ninja every time her mother comes around. In Tough Cookies a date goes from good, to bad, to worse, to funny, with a misogynistic man a waitress with a sense of humor and custom made Fortune cookies. If you are a woman, have female friends, or women in your family, or you just want to understand them better, this is the show for you. Get ready to laugh your panties off.
